In 1999 I picked up my very first face painting brush in my little home town of Wallsend, NSW Australia at the annual Winter Fair. It was pretty much an instant love affair as I realized a path to Living my Dream, which has always been to find a lifestyle which combines Art, Travel, Performing, Community and Children. And I found it - a Traveling Face Painting Faerie!

After a few years of enjoying painting at local markets and children’s parties, in 2004 I face painted my way through Europe managing to "sprinkle (my) fairy dust on 25 different cities in 5 different countries in 2 months".

In October 2005 I joined with another 150 face and body painters at the UK's International Face Painting Convention. After 5 years of being self-taught from books and lots of experimenting, it was here that I received my first ever training in face and body art. My heart was also opened up to the warm community of face and body painters that exists around the world – a real family of Artists!

By 2005 I realized that I needed some help to paint all the children of the world, so a Fairy Good Family was established. We are a community of supportive and loving Artists, inspired constantly by the gift of being able to live doing what we love best – Art and Children!

In 2007, Fairy Marina and myself won first place in the Brush and Sponge category at the Inaugural Body Art Competition in Eumundi QLD Australia. This has since opened up doors in 2008 to teach at the International Face and Body Art Convention in Orlando, Florida and participate at the 11th World Body Art Competition in Seeboden, Austria.

I will continue upon my Faerie journey with Love and Gratitude and I hope to one day meet you with a hug and a smile.
